The Sims 4 is very “now-oriented”, focusing on today’s trends and culture. Where’s the Colonial pack or something for rural Italy?

Now that I’m thinking about it, it’s almost a little strange just how much effort has been put into giving us this content. You can choose from a variety of swatches too, which include solid colors as well as an ornate pattern.Įven The Sims 3 delved into Medieval stuff. This four-post bed features a canopy that matches the duvet. Maybe it’s referring to the size, but this design is so regal, it’s definitely not something you’d find in a peasant sleeping in… unless they snuck into a castle. It’s dubbed the Queen Bed, and that could be taken in a few ways. Without this conversion, you wouldn’t have many appropriate bed choices for a Medieval build in The Sims 4. Utilizing past games allows content creators so much freedom and a little less work, which makes for us having a lot more stuff, since so many concepts have already been included in past Sims installments. I will just never get tired of conversions. There was actually a whole Sims game specifically for this era, and much of that content has been converted over to The Sims 4 for us to use. It contains the same 8 concrete colours as my original replacer, plus one more.

They show up in the Masonry section of flooring.

They're labelled in the catalogue so you know which I think should be used where. You can of course use either version on both ceiling and floor, whichever you think looks best. For some reason floor textures get larger and more blurry when applied to the ceiling, so to preserve the same look as my original ceiling replacer I had to create a separate package with different diffuse uv values. Now we can paint ceilings using floor textures I decided to turn those replacer textures into floors and ceilings so you can choose between them on the fly. PUT A LID ON IT concrete ceiling and floor by amoebaeĪ couple of years ago I made a ceiling replacer to banish those cold, stark white ceilings from the game.
